CATCrafts – The long awaited visit

After more than one year, we finally visited the artisans of Lagunillas del Farallon. This meeting was emotional and exciting, and social distances and face masks did not prevent us to treasure every moment together.

We finally were able to deliver the carding machine that had been waiting at the office in a box. This tool will help the artisans to do their work in an easier, more efficient and faster way, and provided much more: hope for a better future. It was amazing to see them filled with joy, developing plans and new projects of expanding the program. 

Doing field work was also quite fulfilling, the majesty of the Andes, the bright clear sunlight recharged out batteries to continue working for the conservation of one of the most endangered felines of the American continent.
